Binnie is proud to announce that two of our projects have been nominated for the 2025 ACEC-BC Awards for Engineering Excellence. These prestigious awards recognize outstanding achievements in consulting engineering across British Columbia, and we are honoured to be among this year’s nominees.

In the Projects Under $2.5 Million category, the Rockwell Drive Flood Recovery – Debris Flow Site 1 project addressed critical infrastructure damage in Harrison Hot Springs following the 2021 atmospheric river event. Our team delivered a complex recovery solution in a constrained corridor, maintaining traffic flow while strengthening long-term climate resilience. You can view our project nomination online here.

In the Transportation category, the R6 RapidBus – Scott Road Corridor project introduced high-capacity, efficient transit service to Surrey and Delta. With dedicated bus lanes, centre-median platforms, and 60-foot articulated buses, the project now serves over 19,000 daily riders with improved speed, reliability, and sustainability. The 2025 ACEC-BC Awards Gala will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025, bringing together engineering professionals from across the province. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of all nominees and the results of this year’s awards.
