Binnie stuck a shovel in the ground along with Township of Langley Mayor Jack Froese at a groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate a project to improve pedestrian traffic movements in Fort Langley, BC. The Fort Langley Business Improvement Association initiated a Local Area Service project to improve Fort Langley’s popular downtown area along Glover Road and Mavis Avenue. Binnie is providing engineering services to coordinate the design and construction to move the existing overhead telephone, power, and cable lines underground. The project objective is ultimately to provide visitors and residents with safer and improved access to local shops in the area.
