We are thrilled to announce a significant achievement for Binnie as we celebrate the successful launch of the RapidBus R6! Our team successfully provided engineering services in the planning, design, and implementation of this transit infrastructure project.
The RapidBus R6 is a testament to three years of dedicated effort and collaboration, and we are immensely proud to have played a critical role in slashing transit travel times in Surrey and Delta. This project has been one of the largest RapidBus endeavors for our partners at TransLink.
The R6 Scott Road RapidBus, offers enhanced and more frequent bus services for residents of Surrey and Delta, along with students at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
The R6 is designed to accommodate 20% more riders on the most heavily trafficked bus corridor south of the Fraser River. Thanks to improvements in bus speed and reliability, customers can now experience travel times up to ten minutes faster in both directions between Scott Road Station and Newton Exchange.
