The City of Vancouver required landscape architectural design and construction services to revitalize Pandora and Cedar Cottage neighbourhood parks servicing the inner city in East Vancouver. Binnie worked with the Vancouver Parks to generate design options and lead a comprehensive public engagement process to gather feedback to finalize and confirm program and design priorities that would meet community needs. The total project value was $850,000.
Design upgrades to Pandora Park included accessible paths connecting the east and west sides of the park, new tennis and basketball courts, a spacious off-leash dog park, and additional seating and picnic areas.
