Westshore Terminals Limited Partnership engaged Binnie for the design and construction administration for a site upgrade to facilitate the relocation of their administrative offices. The goal was to increase coal storage onsite.
The project involved the relocation of the for-site upgrades to storm and slurry collection and transfer systems, including:
- pump sumps
- above/below ground distribution piping
- water and electrical underground distribution system
- paving works
- security fencing and gates
- a new site entrance and guardhouse building
- vehicle rinse system
- relocation of remote fueling facility and propane tank
- waste oil lube storage containment
- a new onsite water surge tank
- new service water reservoir and pump house/substation building
