On Saturday, August 20th, 144 golfers attended Binnie’s Annual Golf Tournament at Newlands Golf & Country Club in Langley. As a way to raise money for charity, mulligans were sold to the golfers who wished to re-do a shot on the course. Nearly all golfers opted to purchase mulligans and Binnie matched their donations. As the tournament was held in Langley, the organizers decided to donate the funds to a local organization.

The Langley Child Development Centre was founded in 1975 and supports Langley children and youth with special needs. The centre works with children from birth to 19 years of age. Binnie was honoured by the centre which posted this message on their Facebook page:

Binnie donates to many charities each year, including the BC Children’s Hospital, SPCA, Victory Community Development Society, Ronald McDonald House, Engineers without Borders, and the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
