We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded an Award of Merit by ACEC-BC for our “City Hall Fleet Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and Solar Canopy Project” in the “Projects under $2.5 Million” category!

We are incredibly proud of our team, including; Jasdeep Dhillon, Sonny Bharaj, Todd Bowie, Tony Chow, Tony Seddon, and Wilfred Wong. Their diligent efforts have resulted in the largest known fleet EV charging parking lot installation in Canada as of its completion.

One of the most impressive aspects of this project is the significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions it will provide. The fleet and movie kiosk are projected to reduce GHG emissions by 644 t of CO2 and generate 53,566 kWh power back to the grid annually, a major step towards a more sustainable future. Binnie’s design for the solar canopy also maximizes solar exposure and lowers peak power demands, further contributing to the project’s eco-friendly impact.

We are grateful for this recognition from ACEC-BC, and we hope to continue to be able to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions that make a positive impact on our community.
