Binnie has been selected as one of 100 small and medium companies for the second year in a row.

Now entering its fourth year, Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers recognizes small to medium employers with exceptional workplaces and forward-thinking human resources policies. Employers are evaluated on the same eight criteria as the larger Canada’s Top 100 Employers project: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

To determine eligibility, the Top 100 editors follow the small / medium employer definition used by Statistics Canada, limiting the competition to private-sector companies with under 500 employees worldwide.

A list of the winners and detailed reasons for selection is available at the competition website. Notably, a quarter of the 100 companies selected in this competition are BC-based organizations.
