Three Binnie staff attended the ACEC-BC Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 4. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, James Martens, signed the ACEC-BC Charter of Membership re-affirming Binnie’s commitment to uphold the ACEC-BC Code of Ethics for Consulting Practice in British Columbia. As Binnie signed the charter in 2005, this event was a declaration of our continued commitment to the association.

ACEC-BC, or the Association of Consulting Engineers of British Columbia, provides support, professional development, and networking events for BC-based engineers, as well as runs the annual Awards for Engineering competition. The association acts as a “voice” for the BC engineering industry and encourages good business practice and respect among the 90+ member companies who work in the highly competitive industry.
