From January 4th through January 17th, our RISE group hosted their first donation drive with Dress for Success (DFS) Vancouver. In total, RISE collected over a trunk-load of clothing, or four large boxes, consisting of gently used or nearly new professional attire from staff in our Burnaby and Langley locations.

Donations included blazers, suits, pants, skirts, dresses, and much more from both members and allies of RISE.

From Kyra Ching, RISE Communications Lead:

“We were amazed by the amount of enthusiasm even in this remote work atmosphere. We are really looking forward to making this an annual event for everyone to participate in.”

As a staff-led initiative in a professional consulting business, the Dress for Success mission of empowering women into the workforce resonated with the RISE team. By donating this professional attire, our hope is that other women can gain the confidence to enter or return to the workplace, make a great first impression, and land a job that could change her their life!
