Binnie was initial retained by the City of Grande Prairie to provide a full needs assessment report of nine ball diamonds at South Bear Creek Park. Following the completion of the report, the City retained Binnie to provide detail design and construction services for new diamonds based on the findings and recommendations of the assessment. These designs focused on improving site safety, field playability, sport compliance, maintenance and operations, site circulation, facility amenities and features. The final designs will include new backstops, dugouts, infields, outfields, pathways and other site amenities and furnishings. This project is currently in the construction phase.
