Westshore Terminals Limited Partnership engaged Binnie for the design and construction administration for a site upgrade to facilitate the relocation of their administrative offices. The goal was to increase coal storage onsite.

The project involved the relocation of the for-site upgrades to storm and slurry collection and transfer systems, including:

• pump sumps
• above/below ground distribution piping
• water and electrical underground distribution system
• paving works
• security fencing and gates
• a new site entrance and guardhouse building
• vehicle rinse system
• relocation of remote fueling facility and propane tank
• waste oil lube storage containment
• a new onsite water surge tank
• new service water reservoir and pump house/substation building
