Gabriene Kaechele P.Eng. is a Project Manager and Design Engineer with over 16 years of consulting experience in roadworks, utility design, and construction. Since joining Binnie in 2017, Gabriene has worked on a wide range of development and municipal infrastructure projects across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

Gabriene is an active and dedicated member of the engineering community, volunteering her time and expertise to support various initiatives. At Binnie, she co-founded RISE, an internal program aimed at empowering women in the engineering workplace, and also co-founded ‘Binnie University,’ a professional development program designed to foster continuous learning and growth. Gabriene is also actively involved with the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – BC (ACEC-BC), where she currently serves on the 2026-2027 Board of Directors.

Gabriene holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Outside of work, she is busy raising a young family and enjoys taking advantage of the many outdoor activities that Vancouver Island has to offer.
