We are pleased to announce the promotion of Edoardo (Eddie) Ballarin, P.Eng., PMP, PTOE, to Vice President of Transportation Design.

Eddie joined Binnie just over 16 years ago and has been a vital figure in the ongoing success of our team. Eddie contributes his extensive knowledge as a Design Manager and Highway Design Engineer & EOR on a wide variety of large and complex highway design assignments throughout the province. He has a thorough understanding of BC MOTI and Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) policies and best practices in both rural and urban environments.

Notable projects led by Eddie include the Highway 99 at 16 Avenue Interchange and the Highway 1 Malahat Four-Laning and Median Barrier. He is an alumnus of the University of British Columbia where he obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering in addition to his Bachelor of Science in Physics. Eddie is also a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and TAC, as well as a Senior Principal Shareholder here at Binnie.

His wealth of transportation and traffic experience is integral to Binnie’s reputation as trusted leaders in infrastructure.
