The virtual blood drive hosted by RISE took place in April, with Binnie staff coming together to contribute to Canada’s Lifeline. Our goal of 30 individual donations, in support of the 30 by 30 initiative for gender diversity in engineering, was set.

While recognizing that not all women may be eligible to donate at different stages of their lives, we encouraged male colleagues and allies to participate. Staff members who joined the effort booked appointments and shared their photos, and all participants received a small token of appreciation along with post-donation snacks. The initiative was a great success, and we’re proud of the support shown for this important cause.
